MOJO Monday ...WELL TUESDAY...MOJOMARIA.

MOJO MONDAY...HAPPY 100!

This week MOJO Monday is celebrating hitting 100 sketches! What a feat! This week I decided to go ahead and do a couple of Stamp TV Challenges, which I have not had time to play with for a while now. The Challenge was their Friday Potluck and I loved it! I used the MOJO Monday - Day 2 Sketch and had so much fun with the STV Challenge. The challenge was to do the following with one card:

One-Two-Three-Four Recipe:

1 or more designer paper
2 or more different types of bling
3 or more pastel colors
4 or more layers

and it had to be using pastel colours too!! What fun!

Here is a close up the scrunched ribbon and one of my pretty dollar store flowers. I really wish I had bought more of these when I bought the ones I have now. They are so very pretty and oh so cheap!! LOL!!

I am very pleased with how the card turned out. It was almost strange to be using images that weren't mine...I have to be able to do this now and again to keep my mojo working! After all, I have a ton of stamps in my stamp room that have been calling my name! Now to create a day with more hours!! Thanks for stopping by all!!

STVSC18 - WISH YOU WERE HERE

WISH YOU WERE HERE

This weeks Stamp TV Sketch Challenge is a terrific sketch! I will be using this one over and over. I used Gina K images Tree Silhouettes for this one. I shaded using my Momento ink pads. I also used my Cropodile to adhere the eyelets to the card. I cut out my sentiment because I managed to stamp it crooked!!! The cs is all scraps. I am trying to use them up...can anyone explain why the scrap bins exponentially to the use of paper?? Why does the scrap pile get bigger and never seem to go down??

The inside is complete. I used a flower from TAC and a background swirlie stamp also from TAC to finish the inside left of the card and a sentiment from Paper Makeup for the inside. I also used some to eyelets on the inside.

I have decided this one is heading to Nova Scotia and my bestest buddy Bri and his wife Cathy. Bri and I have been since he was chubby and I was skinny!! Now he's the skinny one and me...not so skinny anymore!! LOL~!! Thanks for stopping by everyone!!!

MORE SYMPATHY STVSC17

MEMORIES

This one is going to one of our guy friends so not only did I have the challenge of making a sympathy card...but a masculine sympathy card! Here is what I came up with. The image is one of Gina K`s newest releases called SPECIAL FATHERS isn`t it just lovely! There are Stickles in the lower right to balance out the card and of course my mini paper punch flowers with the Martha Stewart Branch Punch. I have added dimensionals to make the flowers pop out some. The dp is from the Basic Grey Bittersweet paper pad.

Here it is from another angle.
And the flower corner up close:
Finally here is the inside view of the card.
The sentiment inside the front cover is from Stampin Up! and the main verse is computer generated and again from an unknown author. It is another of my favourite sympathy card verses. As always I feel that the sentiment makes the card have its meaning so a lot of thought goes into what I think is appropriate and will speak to the recipient. Thanks for stopping by. Hope you leave a little more inspired and with some new idea`s.

APE OVER YOU!!

I made this guy today. I didn't intend to make any cards today, but hubby went out with a buddy lookin at trains {HUGE hobby} and I was home alone. What's a gal to do when she's left home alone?? Make a card!! See, I knew you all would agree!! LOL!! So here it is. This is actually my entry in this weeks Stamp TV Sketch Challenge. If you don't currently take part in the STV Challenges it's never too late to start!! You could win a Gina K stamp set valued at $24.95 or less!! Talk about an incentive!! ...and have you seen her new release??!!! OMGoodness!! I want them all!!! Go on over and check it out HERE!! Thanks for stopping by everyone!!

This is a shot of the card on an angle so you could appreciate the length of this card. It is 4 x 8 and will fit in a business size envelope, but gives you a little more room to play on the front of the card!! It's hard to tell but the flowers have a thin layer of Diamond Glaze over them to make them pop!

The inside...simple but finished looking.
