Last night or to be more honest in the wee hours of the morning, I decided to merge two of my digital images into one card. It's quite easy to do, really. In this card Lenny is getting a ticket from Patrick!! Lenny has committed the horrible violation of a DWL - DRIVING WHILE LOADED!! ***snort*** I crack me up!! Hmmmm...maybe I should go take a nap! LOL!!

Here are a couple of different angles of the card as always. I have used Diamond Glaze on the headlights, their "eyes" and the officers glasses. It's difficult to see in the photograph but I can tell you it's really awesome in person.

I also made another card last night...errr...this morning. I will upload it later today or tomorrow. I warn you, hubby feels the new card threatens poor Patrick Police Car's masculinity!! LOL!! It's hard to believe that another week has come and gone. Lenny Loader has been a huge success and Angus Argus continues to receive rave reviews. Patrick is our 3rd Freebie being offered by Sunshine's Stamps.

Patrick is the brainchild of one of our Design Team members. We receive many requests from our DT and "fans" requesting different images that hold significance to their families and friends. We are very reactive and if it fits our "action plan" we will do everything we can to act upon your requests and suggestions!!

HIGH HOPES CHALLENGE 36

Today I decided to do the current High Hopes Challenge 36. This weeks challenge is to use up some scraps. I took this challenge quite literally and I used absolutely nothing but scraps to make the entire card!! Lessee lets start with SHE BAAAA SHEEP from High Hopes!! How cute is she?!! The next High Hopes image is called the SINGLE PRESENT . The image of the Birthday Hats and the sentiment are from an unknown source. Sadly, when I first began stamping I didn`t realize the significance of knowing who made what and the end result was that the packaging would have been tossed in the recycle bin long before I realized I really did need that information!!! Live and learn!!You will also notice that I used some Diamond Glaze on the sheep's eyes to give her a funny look.

Here are a couple of shots from the right and the left. Some other things of note are that the images had all been coloured quite some time ago. I was fortunate enough that they were all coloured in a similar manner. The 4, E, W, E are stickers that were remaining on a sheet of alphabet and number stickers. We all have them...we want to throw them out but there are just too many left on the darn thing to throw them away in good conscience!! Finally, I used some micro fine glitter on the hat, pom pom and sentiment. Oh! I should also mention this is the final bit of this particular ribbon I had left.

Lastly, here is the inside. It should be noted that I have used other scraps of Cuttlebug papers to finish the inside. I also used my mini flower punch on tiny pieces of scrap to make my flowers and branches. The birthday cake was also in my coloured and not used pile so I put it inside the card as well. HUBBY'S BIRTHDAY CARD

Hubby has been the "handyman" as of late. We have been renovating our kitchen. Trying to make a silk purse out of a sows ear. We finished putting the trim moldings up tonight. They look terrific.

Today is hubby's birthday but we aren't celebrating until the weekend, so we didn't do much tonight except I did give him his card. He loved it!! He immediately said I needed to post it on my blog! What a great guy he is!! LOL!! So without further ado here is My Handyman's Birthday Card.

The image is from HIGH HOPES and is called Carpenter Ant. He is soooo cute. The sentiment is also from HIGH HOPES. I altered the sentiment by adding the "My". The tools are actually made of metal! I picked them up on one of my shopping spree's to the Buck or Two with my sister - in - law, Chrissy. The screw brads are from Michael's and I picked those up on my last trip to Grand Forks, North Dakota. The image was coloured with my Prisma Markers and my Bic's.

I took a close up of the ant to show you some of the detail. I am pleased with the way he turned out. I am thrilled that there is no limit to the way this guy can be coloured.

The inside has High Hopes Large Single Candle image on the inside left and I used a TAC sentiment along with bits of Martha Stewart to finish off the sentiment. Sorry but I edited out the personal stuff!! LOL!!

Well, I have to run. We are winding down hubby's birthday. I will be making cards tomorrow. I promise to upload at least one and hopefully two cards tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMMY!!

Happy Birthday Emmy!!
Today is my fabulous niece Emmy's 15th birthday!! She is just awesome!! Everyone should have at least one niece as cool as our Emmy!!

This is the card I made to give to Emmy from her uncle and I. I think she loved it! I know she was really happy with the gift card that was inside the card!! LOL!! Happy Shopping Emmy!!!

Let me tell you a little about this card. I don't know the maker or name of this image, but I just love it!! It {the image} was given to me by one of my PIF buddy's Veee!! I coloured the image with my trusty Prisma markers & Bic's. I decided to go with the blues, lavender and yellow colours because they just speak to me of the midnight sky!! My hubby, the artist, say's there should always be a little purple in every painting!! So...this is a little more than "a little" but I am pleased with the results. Hope you like it!!
