ROCKIN' THE COOL CAR!!

Sunshine's Stamps has been busy putting out some really cool and fun images for Winter and Valentines lately. One of the new images is of a '57 Buick. It's so cool, it's HOT!! LOL!! Take a look at one of Sunshine's Dream team members cards featuring the new car image:

Look at the wonderful job Jennifer did on colouring this image! The contrasts between the orange and the blue are perfect! I love the border punch -zig zag with this car image as well. I think this makes the perfect "manly" birthday card, don't you??

Hello from Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada

Hello everyone! I don't have much to post right now. I have been sadly non-productive in my card room as of late. I finished Sunshine's Stamps new Valentine's Images and haven't had the mojo to get into my card room and start creating.

So my question to my blogging buddies is this...what do you do to get your mojo back? Is it just a case of getting in there and getting your hands inky? Do you reorganize your "stuff" to get yourselves motivated? What do you do? All suggestions greatly accepted!!

PLATE #2 FINISHED

Plate #2 is Blue!!

For the second in my 8 piece set of Christmas Dinnerware I have used Sunshine's Stamps new Snowman with Tree image and "In the Meadow" sentiment to decorate this plate! I am thinking my sister-in-law will be falling for this plate heavily!! It's kinda her fave colour!!

Here are the deets on how I made this one. I coloured the images with my Prismacolour Markers and then I separated the tree's from the snowmen. All the images have been stripped down to the thinnest layer to provide as little bulk at the bottom of the plate as possible. The centre image and sentiment have been torn and frayed around the edges and inked with my Versafine Lagoon Blue ink pad and sponge daubers. To soften the effect I also sponged some Martha Stewart white over everything as well.

I used Mod Podge to adhere the images to the back of the plate. Once they were adhered in the correct positions I covered the entire back of the plate with a good layer of Mod Podge and sprinkled microfine blue glitter all over the back of the plate. After I let it dry I applied another coat of Mod Podge and glitter to the back of the plate to fill in the thin area's. Once dry the back of the plate was covered with a good layer of clear water based acrylic.

WOO! HOO! NEW IMAGES!!!

Top O' the Mornin' to Ya all!! Oh it's a bright and shiny day it is today! Yesterday was my birthday and I had a grand time celebrating last night with my family! Unfortunately, celebrating slowed me down a smidgen yesterday so my Tuesday Release was pushed to Wednesday!!

Without further delay here are this weeks newest batch of images! Barney Bus came into existence at the request of one of our Sunshine Stampers who is a ....you guessed it...a TEACHER! The beautiful thing about (C)Barney Bus, is that he isn't just for back to school...he can be used for field trips, summer camp, sports trips...any event or occasion that we all have ever piled into a school bus to attend!! HOCKERDOCKER HELICOPTER

(C)Hockerdocker Helicopter is the second release in our High Flier Series. Isn't he just the cutest?!! Hockerdocker gets his name from my brother! When my brother was wee, he couldn't say "helicopter" so he used to say "hockerdocker"!! It just seemed appropriate to use his word to name our first helicopter image. {That's right the first...there will be more helicopters released in the future.} (C)Hockerdocker Helicopter is sure to be flying high on manly-men cards and man-cub cards alike; for all occasions!!

STEAMY STANLEY

(C)Steamy Stanley has been requested by so many supporters and design team members I can hardly keep it straight. Now, (C)Steamy Stanley is a 'steam engine' of old. He is sure to bring back memories for our parents and grandparents and spark the imaginations of man-cubs and cubettes when they lay their eyes on him!! (C)Steamy Stanley can be used on all manner of cards for all occasions. He is sure to please!! For those of you who are wondering if there will be other trains.....you betcha!! There are modern trains and cabooses just waiting to be launched!! Patience young grasshopper...you will get what you seek..it will just take some time!!!

NEW LINE OF DIGITAL STAMPS SHOWCASED TODAY!

Hello all! Today I am so very pleased to introduce you all to our newest line of 'feminine' digital images. Hot2Trot is the first in our line of "Totally Feminine" images. You will notice that these legs do not belong to a size zero model! These are real woman legs!! because while those size zero's of the world are gorgeous, they just aren't in my reality. My reality is 14+***sigh** Lets face it...real women have curves!! Heck...my curves have curves!!LOL! Here are some pics of my first card featuring this image and here is a link to one of our Sunshine's Stampers blog, to see her terrific cards featuring this image. STUFFIES STAMPS

Here are a couple of close ups to give you some details of the shoes and the sentiment that was created using my JustRite Stamper.

Finally, here is a shot of the inside. I used the remainder of Melanie's beautiful background on the inside, because I just couldn't bring myself to throw it away. I added a few Prima flowers to finish it off. The inside dp is the same as the outside (sorry can't remember the maker) and I used my new Martha Stewart Zig Zag embossing punch for the paper edges. The sentiment is from Stamping Bella.

Can't you just picture yourself giving this card to the guy in your life? My hubby is the image designer on this series and he has created such a cheery little airplane in Angus!!

In this card you can see that Angus doesn't have to be manly!! He has a feminine side as well!! Angie is pretty cute huh??? Looks like she has eyes only for Angus though!!!

Hi all!! I am so excited!! I am entering the arena of Digital Stamp Design. My wonderful hubby has helped me design a whimsical line of digi-stamps that will be available for a limited time FREE here on my blog! After that, they will be available for a nominal fee. Here is a sneak peak of the first Digital Stamp from Sunshine's Stamps!! This series of images is from the "High Flyers" series and the first one is called Angus Argus!!
